Beschnitt bezieht sich auf das Blatt- und kleine Knospenmaterial, das während des Manikureprozesses von der Cannabisblüte entfernt wird, oft verwendet für Extrakte oder Esswaren.
Beschnitt ist das Pflanzenmaterial, das vor dem Verkauf aus der Cannabisblüte während des Schneide- (Manikure-) Prozesses entfernt wird. Es umfasst große Blätter, Zuckergeblätter (kleine Blätter mit Trichomen, die aus der Struktur der Blüte wachsen) und kleine unterentwickelte Knospen. Beschnitt enthält niedrigere Cannabinoidkonzentrationen als Blüten, behält jedoch genügend Trichommaterial, um kommerziell wertvoll als Rohmaterial für die Gewinnung von Konzentraten, Esswaren, Tinkturen und Destillaten zu sein. 'Beschnittläufe' produzieren im Vergleich zu 'Knospenläufen' Produkte mit geringerer Qualität. Die Verwaltung des Bestands an Beschnitt und der Extraktionswirtschaft ist ein wichtiger Aspekt in der Cannabisproduktion und -verarbeitung.
