Die Cannabisextraktion ist der Prozess der Isolierung von Cannabinoiden, Terpenen und anderen Verbindungen aus Pflanzenmaterial unter Verwendung von Lösungsmitteln oder mechanischen Methoden.
Die Cannabisextraktion bezieht sich auf eine Reihe von Techniken, die verwendet werden, um spezifische chemische Verbindungen aus der Cannabispflanze zu trennen und zu konzentrieren. Zu den Methoden gehören: Lösungsmittelbasierte Extraktion (unter Verwendung von Ethanol, Butan, Propan oder CO₂), lösungsmittelfreie Extraktion (Eiswasser/Bubble-Hash, Rosin-Pressen, Trocken-Sichten) und chromatographische Trennung für Isolate. Jede Methode produziert unterschiedliche Extraktprofile und eignet sich für verschiedene Produkttypen. Die industrielle CO₂-Extraktion wird häufig zur Herstellung von pharmazeutischen Isolaten verwendet. Nachbearbeitungsschritte wie Winterisierung, Decarboxylierung und Destillation werden häufig angewendet, um Extrakte zu verfeinern.
